The Alpha Course
Over 8 million people have now attended an Alpha course, an opportunity to explore the meaning of life, running in tens of thousands of churches of all denominations across the world.
The Alpha course is an opportunity to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed, non-threatening manner over ten, thought-provoking weekly sessions.
Alpha is open to everyone, especially:
The course starts with an introductory supper night - a free meal followed by a short talk, entitled, "Christianity: Boring, Untrue, Irrelevant?" After this the course then progresses over 9 weeks on one evening each week.
Each evening consists of:

Supper - a free meal and a chance to get to know each other

Talk - a short presentation addressing the key issues of the Christian faith.

Small groups - a chance to listen, learn and discover - to ask questions and express opinions.
