Planting Churches

One of the five main elements of Newfrontiers mission is a wholehearted commitment to ‘Planting Churches.’

 

We believe that church planting is a biblical strategy to advance God’s Kingdom into our world – in producing disciples and changing lives (see book of Acts for further details!).

 

As a consequence in the Wessex Region, seven new churches have been planted, in the last 5 years.  This is the result of much prayer, dedication, sacrifice and hard work on behalf of many people.

 

While grateful to God for what has recently been achieved we are committed to continuing this ongoing ‘Church planting’ strategy.

 

The following pages are written to help envision and resource this ongoing mission. They are particularly aimed to:

 

1.    Envision people who are interested in exploring or finding out a bit more about church planting.

2.    Connect people who are thinking of getting involved in a future or current church plant with others who are similarly called.

3.    Resource people who want to or are currently involved in a church planting situation with training opportunities and other resources/contacts.
